Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you and your family to St Dunstan’s Preparatory – an independent, co-educational, Anglican School with a proud 107-year history of fostering academic, sporting and cultural excellence. From its humble beginnings, the school has grown into a nurturing community committed to developing each child intellectually, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

At St Dunstan’s, we believe that education is a holistic journey extending well beyond the classroom. We offer a broad range of cultural and sporting opportunities through which our pupils explore and develop their God-given talents. It is often within these experiences that children discover their strengths, form meaningful friendships, and grow in confidence and character.

The Preparatory School provides a warm and inclusive environment where every child is known and valued. A key aspect of this sense of belonging is our House System which fosters camaraderie, teamwork, leadership and school spirit. Through Inter-House activities, friendly competition and shared service, pupils learn the value of participation, collaboration and pride in their community.

We are equally blessed with a vibrant and engaged parent body, whose partnership enriches the life of the school. Parents are encouraged to become involved in the St Dunstan’s Parents’ Association, which offers meaningful opportunities to connect with other families, support school events, and contribute to the continued growth and vitality of our community.

Guided by our school motto, “I Serve,” we seek to nurture in every pupil a spirit of humility, compassion and responsibility qualities that prepare them to make a positive difference in the world around them.
