To Inspire So That All Flourish

ST DUNSTAN'S COLLEGE

Pre-School Partners

The Pre-School has adopted Treasures, a Pre-School in Wattville as their partner school.

The school, under the leadership of Ruth and Allan Mene, has grown from strength to strength.  There are now over 100 children in their care.

Due to popular demand, an additional Grade 0 class has started.

The staff and pupils at the school are extremely appreciative of the generosity, support, donations and toys that have been donated by the St Dunstan’s Pre-School parents and community.

Further to the association with Treasures, the Pre-School supports Project Feed the Children (a non-profit organisation that was founded by Shaun and Gail Botha, in April 2008, with a vision to care for, and feed, disadvantaged children who would otherwise have no food, every day) and BARC Animal Rescue Centre.

Termly collections are made for both institutions.

This year, all food chain records have been smashed.

  • 2012 – 160 metre chain
  • 2013 – 238 metre chain
  • 2014 – 204 metre chain (with 1063 items)
  • 2015 – 259 metre chain (with 1722 items)

This means that there is enough food to feed the Project Feed the Children from Cloverdene, Etwatwa & Delmas areas for the next few months.
