ST DUNSTAN'S COLLEGE

House System

The four Houses at St Dunstan’s College are: Bishops (yellow), Deans (green), Rectors (blue) and Wardens (red).

The College uses a House System. Each child is allocated to a House at the beginning of their school career and will remain in this House until they matriculate. Each House is overseen by a House Director as follows:

Bishops – Mr William Matthewson

Deans – Mrs Kirsten Raath

Rectors – Mrs Le-Anne Jamison

Wardens – Mrs Lee-Anne Jones

Each child is assigned a tutor within the House – in most cases this teacher will remain the child’s tutor throughout their high school career. The relationship between the tutor and tutee is one of the most important relationships your child will develop at the school as the tutor becomes the contact person for your child and for you.

All disciplinary issues and pastoral care work through the tutors and this is a strength of the system. In cases where there may be a need for additional support, your child may be referred to Stefania Romanini, a psychologist, who practices at the school during the morning.
